Mynaa (Tamil: மைனா; English: Myna) is a 2010 Indian Tamil romantic drama film directed and written by Prabu Solomon. Jointly distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin and Kalpathi S. Aghoram,[2] it stars Vidharth and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Featuring an acclaimed soundtrack by D. Imman,[3] the film, which garnered much anticipation prior to release,[4][5] released on 5 November 2010, coinciding with the Diwali festival, receiving critical acclaim and going on to win the Best Film Award at the 58th Filmfare Awards South.[6][7][8] It is being remade in Hindi by Prabhu Solomon, produced by Fox Star Studios
